NHS

The Improving Healthcare Together model of hospital care proposes significant changes. What does this mean in terms of staff? Is it true there will be fewer doctors, nurses and fewer hospital staff?

We will need all our doctors in the local NHS in the future. Moving to one site will make sure we have senior doctors round the clock including late into the evening, overnight and at weekends.

We will be able to go over and above the minimum numbers of doctors needed, to provide the best care for local people.

Changing our hospitals by creating a separate specialist emergency care hospital will create new job opportunities, new roles and a much better working environment.
