Our proposed model of hospital care takes into account the expected changes in our population over the coming years and how the best care can be provided for everyone. The proposed transformation would allow us to improve our existing buildings and create some new buildings. Facilities would be designed to meet the needs of our patients, their families and staff. Having the six services in the specialist emergency care hospital on one site would mean that the hospitals will be able to meet the quality standards and address the shortage of staffing issues.
