Options consideration independent report
Following best practice advice from The Consultation Institute, the Improving Healthcare Together 2020-2030 programme developed a process for working collaboratively with local people and professionals.
The overall objective of the process was to inform the Governing Bodies decision making process with information about how the community and professionals assessed the options. The aims of each workshop were to:
1) Decide the criteria to test the potential solutions
2) Decide the weighting for each criteria in terms of importance
3) Apply the criteria to score the options
Each workshop included a different group of stakeholders to represent a range of perspectives (see the participation section below for more detail).
