Final Integrated Impact Assessment Report

Following the closure of the consultation on the 1st of April 2020, Mott MacDonald have updated the interim Integrated Impact Assessment (IIA) to produce a final report.

The IIA will inform Surrey Downs, Sutton and Merton CCGs about the potential positive and negative impacts of any changes to services on communities, as well as any potential solutions the CCGs, Epsom and St Helier Hospital Trust and other partners could take regarding its proposals.

This document is one of a number of pieces of evidence that the local CCGs will consider to inform theirĀ decision making process which is set out here.

This report has been reviewed and agreed by the IIA Steering Group, which was independently chaired by Professor Andrew George.

The final report builds on the draft interim IIA report and incorporates:

  • A review of the consultation responses enabling the final IIA to incorporate any new impacts or mitigating actions which had not been identified as part of the interim report
  • Refreshed deprivation and travel times analyses using the new indices of deprivation and respectively new data on travel times for both public and private transport
  • Additional deprivation analysis following a request by Merton Council for further research on the impact of proposed changes on those living in deprived areas compared with other areas of the impacted study area which was undertaken for each CCG area; and
  • An update on the resilience section of the report (section 5.9.4, p.110 -111).
