Consultation privacy notice
Under the Data Protection Act and the Generation Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Improving Healthcare Together programme has a legal duty to protect any information we may collect and we are responsible as a ‘controller’ of that personal information.
During the programme we may ask for you to provide your personal information to help us analyse the responses to the consultation and ultimately help us to improve services of Epsom and St Helier hospitals. We will always ask for consent and clearly specify the reason we ask for your information. You will be able to opt-out of sharing your personal information, if you would like to do so.
The programme will not share or sell your details to third parties. However, your data may be shared with outsourced contractors to help the programme analyse the information to help with the development of the programme and its goal to improve services.
The programme or any third parties will not keep any personal information that could identify you for more than one year after any decisions have been finalised.
You have the right to withdraw consent at any time during the consultation for the information you have provided.
If you would like to withdraw consent, please contact us via the email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you would like further information on how we process your data, please contact our Data Protection Officer: Daniel.Lorusso@nhs.net. Alternatively, you can contact him on: 07917093042.
