This is based on TRACC accessibility software, an industry standard approach, with data sourced from public transport timetables and network road speed data (derived from Traffic master GPS data). You can read a technical note about the methodology used on our website – here.
The baseline analysis was undertaken to understand patients’ access to services currently. A phase two is now being undertaken to understand how patients’ access and journey times could be affected by any potential changes to services. This will form part of the Integrated Impact Assessment development process.
